HTML character map

In HTML (and XML), there are 'character entity reference' that are used to represent non-ASCII characters. E.g. the character '→' can be encoded as →, to use in a non-Unicode-compatible text format. These characters will follow the style and size of your font.

Ö	Ouml: Latin capital letter O with diaeresis
ß	szlig: Latin small letter sharp s (ess-zed)
ã	atilde: Latin small letter a with tilde
Ÿ	Yuml: Latin capital letter y with diaeresis
Δ	Delta: Greek capital letter Delta
Ν	Nu: Greek capital letter Nu
ε	epsilon: Greek small letter epsilon
ω	omega: Greek small letter omega
′	prime: prime (minutes, feet)
‾	oline: overline (spacing overscore)
↵	crarr: downwards arrow with corner leftwards (carriage return)
⇑	uArr: upwards double arrow
∇	nabla: del or nabla (vector differential operator)
∩	cap: intersection (cap)
